THE ICEFIELDS PARKWAY III

In 1931, the government of Canada put hundreds of unemployed men to work in building mounteneer "wonder trail" through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The men were paid 20 cts. a day. Using picks, shovels and horses - for mechanized equipment the crews had only a few small tractors - these hardy folks hacked a single-lane gravel track from Lake Louise to Jasper.

Between mighty mountains lost and not lost.

I did not realize it until now but water is always on the move even rocks cannot stop it.

Sometimes the water moves fast, sometimes it is wandering relaxed as if it is enjoying the environment.

The river becomes many rivers until it occupies the whole valley.

The indian paint brush flower. A beautiful name for a beautiful flower.
